Netscribes created a Learning to Rank (LTR) model powered by machine learning, using past purchase history, browsing patterns, and transactional metadata to generate extremely contextualized recommendations. Orchestration was done using AWS EC2 and ranking using TensorFlow, enabling it to instantaneously analyze and optimize recommendations on the basis of user behavior.
By incorporating this AI-based approach, the customer could recommend most pertinent products, facilitate upselling and cross-selling, and even push customers toward abandoned cart content.
